Syber had a thread in this vein going a while back but I can't be bothered to dig it up. Got a good one today: Basically told him that they call it recycling for a reason, and that if job pages were optional, there would be no point in having them in the first place, because no one could rely on them to locate their print job. Also printers have enough fucking options to trip over already without trying to add new ones. Didn't include that last bit. People just can't seem to understand that just because they see no use for something, it therefore has no intrinsic use to anyone... then again this is the computer science department. Empathy is not high on the list of required skills around here.
