Ok, so, the past two days I've logged onto the website from home, on my brand new computer. The site seems to be having some issues. First, it is running very slow. Second, when I click on a link to a thread, it will take me to a blank white screen. Other times, like just a moment ago I clicked on "Post New Thread" and it took me back to the Home page. I'm also not getting all the little boxes for post editing, like bold, italic, web link, etc, at the top of the message post boxes. Also, When I posted my last post in the Division Info Thread, my signature stuff did not appear at the bottom of my message. I'm sure other things is happening, but just can't figure out what they are.

what browser did you experience these problems in?

I'm looking fine on Firefox and Chrome running Windows 10.

I'm on Chrome using Windows 10 Education version.

Yea, it seems to be happening more and more now, like with almost every other page I try to go to it gives me a blank page. It's not happening on any other website I go to, so, thought something might be up on here. I'll try those sites that you posted syber.

F12 will bring up your dev console. The network tab should give you an idea of what is failing and the errors causing it.

Ok, so for the Peacekeeper I got a score of 4201.

On Speedtest I got a ping of 13 ms, 57.68 Mbps download and a 63.40 Mbps upload speeds.

And I have the current version of flash on my system.

This is what I'm seeing that I'm guessing is failing:

    Name: cast_sender.js
    Type: xhr
    Initiator: www-embed-player.js:580

That's nothing related to the web site.

You need to look at the connections on the network tab. There's a status column.

Those were the only things that said "(failed)" in the status column. They were also in red. Everything else had a 200, 304, 307 or 301 in that column.

The site has done this to me for years, I've kinda just learned to deal with. I brought it up once or twice when they remodeled the whole thing, because that's when it started happening, but never got a fix for it. Half the time I have to reload things a few times just to get it to load, it loads very slowly, and will take me back to the home screen often when I'm going to the forums. Never had any issues with any other website doing this. I'm not sure what I'm suppose to be looking for in the network but here are some of the last few errors I got.

    <script>var _paq=_paq||[];_paq.push(["trackPageView"]);_paq.push(["enableLinkTracking"]);(function(){var u=(("https:"==document.location.protocol)?"https":"http")+"://maint.alloutassault.net/piwik/";_paq.push(["setTrackerUrl",u+"piwik.php"]);_paq.push(["setSiteId","1"]);var d=document,g=d.createElement("script"),s=d.getElementsByTagName("script")[0];g.type="text/javascript";g.defer=true;g.async=true;g.src=u+"piwik.js";s.parentNode.insertBefore(g,s);})();</script>

Here is the link to me browsing around on the site.

Ok, so, I'm at work, which is a Windows 7 machine, still using Chrome and not sure about the slowness, but, the reply box at the bottom still does not have the editing tools that it use to have. And I'm also not seeing the signatures of everybody as well. Here is a picture of the editing tools being missing. And now it seems I can't add pictures to this post. I've also tested the site on IE at work and I still don't get the editing tools in the reply section.

Ok, was able to edit the post and use More Options to get have the ability to upload a file, but it would not allow me to click and drag it into the posting box to add it to the post. Also, in this section as well, there is no editing tools, which I'll try to post a picture of as well. no editing tools.jpg

And, this is my 3001 post. :)

That's because you you turned off the rich text editor. There should be an option in your settings.

This is still happening to me and more frequently now. Still getting the same error messages.

I did fix the other issue, and I had all three boxes unchecked and I have no idea how that happened, because they were checked before all this stuff started happening.

Ok, so I had an error happen and it was a long error so I copied it and pasted it into text format and here is the file.

Ok, so things seem to have gotten much better for both work and home PCs. Not sure if anybody did anything, but things are working much faster now and no returning to the home page.
